Seeking Volunteers to Start Local DeMolay Chapter
The Sixth Masonic District is working to open a DeMolay chapter to serve the greater Norwood and Westwood area. They’re currently soliciting volunteers to serve as advisors, requesting a six-month or one-year commitment to help get the chapter off the ground.
Several opportunities are available. A strong line of adult volunteer advisors is the no. 1 critical path toward founding a chapter. If you are able to support this worthy endeavor, or if you are interested in learning more, please let me know or contact the district’s youth service lead, Bro. John Delcore, at 978-696-1776 or jadhfcu@comcast.net.
Officers Meeting and Rehearsal
Our next officers meeting will be Monday, Oct 7, at 7 p.m. We will rehearse the third degree opening, the official visit and have our first rehearsal in advance of November’s first degree for our candidates.

Catch a Ride and Valet Service
We want all our brothers to take part in as many activities as possible. For brothers who have not recently attended lodge or any of our events, we want to make it easy for you to do so. That’s why we offer the following services, always:
  • Catch a ride: We can arrange a ride for you. Car pools and ride shares are always available on request. We’re glad to come to your home, meet you at your door, and assist you to the building and elsewhere.
  • Valet parking: Drive right up to the door of the lodge building or event location and be met by a brother who will greet you and safely park your car.
To take advantage of either service, please reply to this email or call me at 617-953-0837. It’s our pleasure to do so.
Note that the accessible entrance to the lodge building is always open on meeting nights. These same services are also available for any lodge social event or district activity. Please share your feedback or let us know how we can help you get more involved.
