Members of Orient Lodge were present at yesterday's annual Norwood Day festival. Every year, Lodge Brethren volunteer to staff the booth and enjoy the opportunity to chat with and engage members of the Norwood community about Freemasonry, Orient Lodge and the local happenings in general. Every year, we enjoy reminiscing with visitors talking about their memories surrounding Orient, such as the annual Children's Holiday Party, Rainbow Girls and DeMolay events, dearly departed relatives who were heavily involved with the Masons in Norwood, candidates for public office, etc. This year we welcomed back Amanda, owner of Regal Princess Parties of Franklin, to provide face-painting to children at Norwood Day who wished to have their faces painted. All kids left the booth ecstatic at having been made up as their favorite story book or movie character. Thank you for stopping in to say hello and we look forward to chatting with you all again at next year's Norwood Day festival.
